Regaining Strength, Finding Meaning – A Holistic Path to Recovery

We invite you to a unique, three-day workshop dedicated to people with cancer. We'll meet in a picturesque setting. San Maryno Manor on September 12-14, 2025, to stop the daily rush, listen to yourself and nourish your body, mind and soul.

During this workshop, we will explore various methods for supporting health and well-being during and after cancer treatment. The program includes mindfulness, breathing techniques, meditation, physiotherapy, Chinese medicine-based dietetics, aromatherapy, and practical daily rituals.

This is a unique opportunity to spend time with people who understand what it means to seek strength and meaning, in an atmosphere of support, understanding, and warmth.

FRIDAY, September 12

17:30 –  Thoughts that Support – How to Create Space for Peace and Strength – Catherine Binkiewicz
This practical session will show you how to consciously work with your thoughts to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with illness. You'll learn how to recognize and develop supportive mindsets that help you maintain inner peace and emotional resilience during challenging times.

SATURDAY, September 13

8:00 – Morning awakening to the rhythm of nature: mindfulness, grounding, breathing – Joanna Niewolik

10:30 – Chinese medicine in practice – simple ways to feel better – Ania Piechula
During this workshop, we will focus on the practical application of Chinese medicine in supporting your daily well-being – from cooking to bodywork. You will learn about the products recommended in Chinese dietetics, how to prepare meals that support your body's strength, and what methods Chinese medicine offers and in what situations they can be helpful. We will place a strong emphasis on practice – you will learn simple techniques that can be safely used at home, including acupressure for selected ailments.

16:00 – Oncological physiotherapy – Elwira Wieczorek
During this workshop, we'll discuss what a visit to an oncology physiotherapy clinic is like and what exactly it involves. We'll explore the facts and myths surrounding what can and can't be done after oncological procedures. We'll explore the topic of edema, the role of breathing, and physical activity in improving physical and mental well-being. Together, we'll work on abdominal tone, pelvic floor muscles, and the diaphragm.

SUNDAY, September 14

10:30 – Clinical aromatherapy in the self-help of oncology patients – Dorota Bienias 
The workshop aims to provide simple, safe, and effective clinical aromatherapy techniques that will help alleviate post-treatment symptoms, reduce pain, regenerate skin, and support emotions. The workshop will consist of six modules: therapeutic breathing with aromatherapy, pain and muscle tension relief, skin care after chemotherapy and radiation therapy, aromatherapy for nutrition and energy, emotional and nervous system support, and creating a daily aromatherapy ritual.

Workshops for Rakiety Foundation beneficiaries are free of chargeThe number of places is limited, so please register carefully. The possibility of withdrawing from participation without consequences is valid until August 31After this date, those who cancel will be charged 50% for the cost of their stay.

For non-Foundation members, the cost of the workshop is PLN 990.00. Space is limited, so please register carefully. Confirmation of participation will be made after the full fee has been credited to the Rakiety Oncological Foundation's account: 52 1050 1025 1000 0090 3010 4252.

The possibility of withdrawing from participation without consequences is valid until August 31 After this date, those who withdraw will be charged 50% for workshop costs.

Ania Piechula

A certified acupuncturist, enthusiast of Chinese medicine and St. Hildegard's medicine. She began her adventure with acupuncture at the International School of Classical Acupuncture ACUART. Fascinated by dietetics based on Chinese medicine and natural methods of treatment, she constantly explores the richness of traditional medical systems, including at the Institute of Chinese Medicine and Health Prevention.

A holistic therapist, oncology nurse specialist, certified clinical aromatherapist, herbalist, and naturopath. A health enthusiast who believes in the power of nature and its ability to support healing processes.

Elvira Wieczorek

A physiotherapist who routinely cares for individuals undergoing and recovering from cancer treatment. She gained her experience in France, where, in collaboration with multidisciplinary specialists, she created a program to support and improve the health of women undergoing and recovering from breast cancer. In her practice, she collaborates with specialists from various fields: surgeons, dietitians, cosmetologists, trainers, and massage therapists, to holistically care for her patients' well-being.
