The next, fourth edition of the festival is behind us. BLOOD and BONE. For two days, Warsaw's VooDoo club became home to everything that's best in the underground scene: from powerful riffs, to a mesmerizing atmosphere, to the incredible solidarity that is the hallmark of this event.
This wasn't just another weekend of loud music. It was proof that the metal community can unite for a good cause, transforming the energy from the stage into real support for the beneficiaries of our Foundation.
This year's lineup was a true journey through the diverse shades of heavy metal. Performing on stage were: Vokkr, Ravna, Datûra, Material Degradation, Etherios, Traces to Nowhere, Weedcraft, Red Scalp. Each band not only delivered incredible performances on stage, but also actively contributed to the cause by donating items for the festival auction.
Organizing an event of this scale is a huge logistical and emotional challenge. We must be clear on this point: this festival wouldn't exist without the Backbone crew. Their energy, passion, and professionalism ensured that, as always, everything was perfect. Hats off to the guys at Backbone! Your dedication shows that organizing an event is more than just setting up equipment; it's about building a community that changes people's lives for the better. The metal scene is often associated with rawness, but anyone who has appeared in VooDoo Club, knows that huge hearts beat beneath this skin. Thanks to your presence, purchased tickets, and auctioned items, we can truly support people living with cancer.
