Rakieta Foundation at the Integrative Medicine Conference 2026

On March 12–13, 2026, we attended the Integrative Medicine Conference 2026, held on the University of Arizona Medical Campus in Tucson, Arizona. The event was organized by the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, one of the first and most recognized integrative medicine centers in the world.

This center was founded in 1994 by Dr. Andrew Weil, one of the pioneers of integrative medicine. It operates at the University of Arizona and has been educating physicians, nurses, and therapists in various fields for years, promoting an approach that combines conventional medicine with methods that support patients' health and quality of life.

The conference is the center's flagship event and brings together specialists from around the world. This year's edition attracted over 600 participants. The program included numerous plenary lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and a space for conversation and exchange of experiences. Speakers included Dr. Andrew Weil and experts from various fields of integrative medicine. The conference focused on the "whole-person care" approach, a holistic approach to the patient, combining conventional treatment with lifestyle, diet, stress reduction, and psychological support.

Why were we there?

Because the Rakiety Oncology Foundation operates in the field of integrative medicine, we support, inform, and educate our patients, so we want to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and practice in this area. Participating in such events allows us to develop our activities and better respond to the needs of those living with the disease.
