In September 2017, the project started “A better start in Ursynów”, co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the Masovian Voivodeship for 2014-2020, Priority Axis IX, Measure 9.2.

We are implementing the project together with the Office of Social Aid and Projects of the Capital City Hall. Warsaw and the municipal unit of the Family Support Center "Rodzinna Warszawa".

The aim of the project is individual and comprehensive support for 60 people aged 6-18 from the area of Służewiec, the border of the districts of Ursynów and Mokotów, at risk of social exclusion, in particular the residents of the newly built social housing estate at ul. Kłobucka, located in some isolation from the rest of the district.

As part of the project, a new educational center was established for two years - the "Ursynów" Center - as well as a backyard group. At the stationary facility, pupils will carry out various programs for developing extracurricular interests, will receive help in learning from professional tutors (they will cope with, among others, mathematics, Polish and English), and will also be covered by a cyclical sociotherapeutic program.
