The project aims to acquire new or improve existing skills in the field of digital competences: operating a computer, smartphone, tablet and using modern tools and technologies.
Implementation period: 2023-05-15 – 2023-12-15
As part of the project, 35 people aged 60+ will be provided with comprehensive support in improving digital competences!
By participating you can benefit from:
- Group classes at the basic level
- Group classes at post-primary level
Thanks to the above classes and activities, seniors will be more willing to use technological achievements, gaining greater independence and a sense of influence on their functioning in everyday life, they will improve their competences and increase their knowledge of computer use and new technologies!

VOLUNTEERS wanted for the project!
The Rakiety Oncological Foundation is looking for people to provide support to participants of the "Senior ONLINE" project co-financed by the multi-annual program for older people "Aktywni+" for 2021-2025.
The project itself concerns supporting the development of digital competences of people aged 60+ and safe use of the Internet, and the support provided is only an element complementing the project program. Courses in small groups of 5 people will be organized in Warsaw.
The support provided by volunteers will consist primarily in providing support for project participants - people 60+ during courses, i.e providing advice/guidance that does not require specialized knowledge for osupport for smartphone/laptop/tablet devices. Participants may also need a basic Mrassistance in getting to the place of classes and in preparing for courses conducted by trainers.

Working time: approx. 10 hours
Requirements:
· practical knowledge of using a laptop, smartphone, tablet in everyday use;
· empathy and knowledge of the specificity of the target group - people aged 60+;
· positive attitude.
