The Rakiety Oncological Foundation is recruiting for the program “Respite care” for the Organization
Non-governmental – 2024 edition as part of the departmental Program of the Minister of Family and Social Policy financed from the Solidarity Fund.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD: 01/03/2024 - 30/11/2024
The main goal of the Program is to support family members or guardians who provide direct care for disabled people who have:
a) a certificate of significant disability
or
b) the judgment treated on an equal footing with the judgment referred to in point (a). a, in accordance with
art. 5 and art. 62 of the Act of 27 August 1997 on vocational rehabilitation and
social and employment of disabled people (Journal of Laws of 2023, item
100, as amended. d.)
– by enabling ad hoc, temporary assistance in the form of respite care services, i.e. relief from everyday duties associated with caring for a person with a disability by providing temporary replacement in this area. Respite care services may also be used to temporarily meet the needs of a person with a disability when family members or caregivers are unable to perform their duties for various reasons.
Respite care services are available when a family member or guardian mentioned above lives in the same household as a person with a disability who requires constant care for everyday needs.
The program is implemented in the form of providing respite care services as part of a daily stay in the place of residence of a person with disabilities.
As part of this project, support will be offered to residents of the province. Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Bochnia poviat, Tarnów subregion (i.e. Tarnów, Tarnów, Brzeg and Dąbrowa poviats).
