We are proud to announce that the Rakiety Oncological Foundation has officially become a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) – one of the most important organizations working to improve the situation of people affected by cancer around the world.
UICC is an international non-profit organization based in Geneva, founded in 1933. It brings together over 1,200 members from over 170 countries, including foundations, research institutes, patient organizations and public health institutions. Its main goal is to support initiatives in the field of cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment and to promote health policies based on scientific evidence.
Belonging to the UICC is a great distinction and honor for our foundation. It opens up new opportunities for international cooperation, exchange of experience and knowledge with experts from all over the world. We believe that this membership will help us to realize our mission even more effectively – to support people with experience of cancer and their loved ones, develop educational programs and promote health awareness in Poland.
We are convinced that thanks to this cooperation we will be able to respond even better to the needs of oncology patients and actively participate in creating positive changes in the healthcare system.
