The disease appeared in my life unexpectedly. The medical costs so far have consumed my savings. I know that I have more expenses ahead of me to be able to function as normally as possible. I dream of having the strength to work in the garden, knit or read books again.

In December 2022, it turned out that I had multiple myeloma. My fight against the disease began in January. The first news about the cancer knocked me off my feet and caused a breakdown, but the support of my wife and daughter allowed me to look at life differently.

Further treatment depends on the progress of the disease - on whether the paralysis disappears and the husband will be able to get up and walk on his own. This requires intensive rehabilitation, also private. When my husband gets back on his feet, he will be able to benefit from innovative glioma treatment. The cost of these therapies reaches 200,000. zlotys. We don't have many treatment options due to the specific nature of the tumor, but there is hope and it motivates us to fight.

The biggest problem is the isolation associated with having to stay at home. I would like to get better so I can just see my friends and enjoy everyday life.
