My name is Gosia and I am 37 years old. I am a landscape architect by profession and work as a manager of green areas in Wrocław. I am the mother of two wonderful daughters whom I love more than life itself and the wife of a wonderful and supportive husband. It's for them that I fight.
I discovered the tumor myself in October 2022. The gynecologist immediately referred me to the Breast Unit in Wrocław. After appropriate tests, I received the diagnosis - malignant breast cancer, and a trinegative one at that. The news about this cancer, which was developing in my breast at lightning speed, shattered our normal life. We are in a to be or not to be mode. We are looking for every opportunity to increase the chances of winning against one of the most dangerous diseases of current civilization.

In addition to intensive chemotherapy, I decided to use very expensive therapy to fight aggressive cancer. This method is used in the West, but in our country it is not reimbursed. The initial therapy with Keytruda costs approximately PLN 130,000 in the pre-treatment version. Ultimately, after breast removal surgery, it may amount to up to PLN 240,000. Additionally, my three-weekly treatment cost is PLN 13,875.13 + appropriate diet.

I am currently undergoing chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiotherapy. I would also like to undergo breast reconstruction after all this, but above all I want to return to a normal and dignified life and to my passion - painting.
