Volodymyr was taken prisoner and severely beaten. We didn't know then that he had bone cancer. We decided to escape because we were afraid that only death awaited us in our homeland.
After arriving in Poland, his leg was already very swollen and he was immediately taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with it malignant tumor of bones and articular cartilage. The treatment applied did not help. The only solution was to amputate the leg.
We don't have money for medicines and prostheses. Volodymyr is young, he has his whole life ahead of him. He really wants to work and help others.

вже не допомогло б Єдиним рішенням було відрізати ногу.
