

The Rakiety Oncology Foundation is recruiting for the program “Respite Care” for Non-Governmental Organizations – 2025 edition as part of the ministerial Program of the Minister of Family and Social Policy financed from the Solidarity Fund.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD: 01.02.2025 – 31.12.2025 r.
The main goal of the Program is to support family members or guardians who provide direct care for disabled people who have:
- a decision on a significant degree of disability
or
- a decision treated as equivalent to the decision referred to in letter a, in accordance with Article 5 and Article 62 of the Act of 27 August 1997 on vocational and social rehabilitation and employment of disabled persons (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 100, as amended)
– by enabling the provision of ad hoc, temporary assistance in the form of respite care services, i.e. relief from the daily duties associated with caring for a person with a disability by providing a temporary replacement in this regard. Respite care services can also serve to temporarily meet the needs of a person with a disability in a situation where family members or carers are unable to perform their duties for various reasons.
Respite care services are available when a family member or carer, as referred to above, lives in a shared household with a person with a disability who requires constant care for everyday needs.
The program is implemented in the form of providing respite care services as part of a day stay at the place of residence of a person with disabilities.
As part of this project, support will be offered to residents of the province. Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Bochnia County, Tarnów subregion (i.e. Tarnów city, Tarnów, Brzesko, Dąbrowa County).
