DREAM:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It can be said that cancer and its effects have accompanied me, more or less, since early childhood. Today I am 50 years old, and I was first diagnosed when I was 4 years old - Wilms tumor (right kidney).
My parents were then confronted with the information that they had to "say goodbye" to me. I was supposed to be gone, but someone had a different plan for me. I survived the treatment and was eventually cured of cancer. Even though I was a small child then, I remember a lot - unfortunately, time has not erased all the memories. Saving my life required removing my kidney, administering chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The consequence of this treatment was the inability to get pregnant. Adoption was my salvation and thanks to it I now have a 12-year-old son, Wojtek (autistic). A lot of time and work had to be put into ensuring that my son could function at the current level. He currently attends a special school and enjoys contact with his peers.
Unfortunately, in 2021, I found out by accident that I had an RMCA aneurysm in my head, which required protection (clipping, opening the skull). I waited a long time for the surgery, which finally took place in June 2022. This date is important because it determined the possibility of performing another surgery in connection with the finding of a tumor in the abdominal cavity. As it turned out, after the surgery performed in August 2022, it was a malignant tumor. The operation took place in Warsaw, at the Bielański Hospital.
I was glad that it was over and that I was recovering. Unfortunately, at the turn of October and November 2022, an intestinal obstruction occurred and another surgery was necessary. Now I keep fighting. I am struggling with another terrifying diagnosis - sarcoma.
Unfortunately, I have limited funds for treatment and I am afraid that without financial help, I would have to abandon it at some point, so I am asking you to support me in this difficult and exhausting fight.
