My family and I have always lived very modestly. I worked and my wife took care of our four children. The youngest of the children has been diagnosed with autism, which caused my wife to focus on caregiving and not take up any professional work. I was the sole breadwinner in the family.

My passion has always been sports. I took part in many street races, marathons, but I loved cycling the most. I commuted to work by bike, on my days off I went for a ride and sometimes did 200 kilometers in one day. I also took part in numerous road races, often standing on the podium.

And suddenly it all disappeared. In May 2024, during a bowel movement surgery, I found out that I had colorectal cancer with metastases to the peritoneal cavity. The surgery helped only for a moment, then there was only pain. I ended up in hospital again with ascites, I stopped eating, I lost 20 kilograms, and now I weigh 52 kg. Chemotherapy and immunotherapy are planned, but I am very exhausted and do not meet the requirements to qualify for this therapy. At the moment, intravenous feeding has been implemented to strengthen me a bit.

Money is needed for further expensive therapy, travel to hospital, consultations with specialists. All this is beyond our capabilities.

I would like to live a little longer. Three of my children are already adults, but they have not yet started their own families, and I would like so much to see that they have settled down in life. I dream that my daughter will find a loving husband, and my sons will find wives. My mother died without seeing a single grandchild, and My dream is to see these grandchildren, take them on my lap and hear: Grandpa.
