I've been diagnosed with sarcoma with metastases to my lungs. I currently need funds for further diagnostics, genetic testing, post-operative rehabilitation, and supportive care that may help halt the progression of the disease. Every donation and share is a huge support.

My history

Dream:

I learned about the disease completely by accident. During the COVID crisis, I ended up in the emergency room, where I had a lung X-ray. It was then that the doctors noticed changes in the lungs, liver and thyroid. After two biopsies, I received the diagnosis – sarcoma metastases. A very rare and insidious cancer.

That moment stopped my life. Only one question remained in my mind: how much time did I have left?.

I'm a mother of four. I've already lost one of my sons. To this day, the exact cause of his death remains unknown. It was a terrible tragedy, and it took me a long time to learn to live again. When I finally began to regain some peace and it seemed to me that life was slowly returning to normal, another challenge arose – cancer.

Doctors themselves say that such strong and chronic stress could have influenced the development of the disease.

Today, I do everything not just for myself. I have a four-year-old grandson, and I'd love to be there for him, to watch him grow up, to hear him call me "Grandma" many more times. I'd love to have a little more of that ordinary life—time spent together, talking, walking, and spending time with family.

Despite my illness, I try to function normally. I returned to work because it gives me a sense of normalcy and allows me to take my mind off my treatment for a while. Unfortunately, my last CT scan showed that The tumor in his lung began to grow rapidly. Treatment to date has not yielded the expected results.

During a private consultation, I was told that the treatment should be changed, and that one of the tumors would probably require surgery, while the other two would require radiotherapy. The doctor also recommended specialized genetic testing that could help choose targeted therapy. The cost of such tests is approximately 25 thousand zlotys.

Until now, we have covered most of the costs associated with the disease ourselves.
Monthly expenses related to treatment, tests, medications, supplements, travel and special diet currently amount to approximately 10–12 thousand zlotys. Additionally, every few months I have to undergo specialized tests for circulating and stem cells, which cost several thousand zlotys per test.

I am currently waiting for qualification for surgery to remove a tumor from the lung. I have more tests ahead, a PET scan, further diagnostics, and post-surgery rehabilitation. I'd also like to review my medical records at a clinic in Berlin specializing in sarcoma treatment to ensure I've exhausted all possible opportunities.

My husband is trying very hard to cover the costs of treatment, but I can see how tired and helpless he is in the face of expenses that keep increasing.

My biggest dream is to simply live. To be able to wake up in the morning without fear and still have time for your loved ones.

I believe that with the help of God and people with good hearts I will be able to regain my health.

That's why I'm incredibly grateful for any help, donations, shares, and kind words. I wholeheartedly thank everyone who decides to support me.
