Meet our psycho-oncologists
Catherine Binkiewicz
She completed a uniform master's degree in clinical psychology and postgraduate studies in psycho-oncology at SWPS University. She completed numerous courses and trainings in the field of psychological assistance - including RTZ and TSR training.
She has almost 10 years of clinical experience, which she gained while working in hospices, rehabilitation centers and the Radom Oncology Center. She conducts trainings, workshops and courses in the area of health psychology, prevention and psycho-oncology. She has experience in working with people in mourning; she co-ran support groups for people who have lost a child.
As a psycho-oncologist, he works with adults – from the moment of diagnosis through all stages of treatment. He also supports loved ones and caregivers of sick people. He provides support to people grieving after the loss of loved ones.
Martyna Głębicka
Psychologist, psycho-oncologist
She completed master's studies in psychology at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and postgraduate studies in psycho-oncology at the SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw.
She gained experience at the Little Prince Hospice in Lublin and as a psychologist in projects supporting people with disabilities and people in mental crisis. Currently, he is completing a psycho-oncology internship at the Oncological Hospice of St. Krzysztof in Warsaw.
Ilona Stankiewicz
Psychologist, psycho-oncologist
She completed master's studies in clinical psychology and postgraduate studies in psycho-oncology in clinical practice at the Jagiellonian University Medical College. Member of the Polish Psycho-oncological Society.
She gained experience by collaborating, among others, with the Dobrze ŻeJest Foundation - Oncology Center in Warsaw, Oncological Hospice. St. Christopher in Warsaw, Hospice. Anna Olszewska in Skierniewice.
Currently, he works as a psycho-oncologist in the Department of Hematology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases and the Oncology Clinic of the University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw, providing psychological support to hemato-oncological and oncological patients and their family members.
I also work individually, mainly with adults at each stage of cancer and their relatives, as well as with people with other chronic diseases, disabilities and their caregivers.
Maja Surowicz-Biłyj
Psycho-oncologist, educator, crisis interventionist
She is the Founder and President of the Rakiety Oncological Foundation, and has been accompanying oncology patients and their loved ones at all stages of the disease for almost 20 years. She specializes in crisis intervention and psycho-oncology, she gained her experience working in oncology wards and in hospices for children, adolescents and adults. He has been answering our Foundation's 24-hour support hotline for 10 years. She completed master's studies in Special Pedagogy at the Academy of Special Pedagogy, postgraduate studies in Psycho-oncology at SWPS and the Crisis Intervention Study at the Polish Psychological Association. She deals with an integrative approach to health, is a member of the Society For Integrative Oncology, and is a member of the Dr. Preeti Agrawal School of Conscious and Healthy Lifestyle. He approaches patients holistically, implementing what he calls "Cancer Project Management", treating cancer as one of many projects to be implemented, which, after planning the tasks, schedule and budget, simply becomes one of the stages in life.
Ola Tobota-Różańska
Psychologist, educator, psycho-oncologist, certified psycho-oncology supervisor of the Polish Psycho-oncological Society.
Lecturer of postgraduate studies: Psycho-oncology at the Ignatianum Academy in Krakow, Crisis Intervention at the Institute of Health Psychology in Warsaw. Speaker at scientific conferences devoted to, among others: psychosomatics and chronic diseases. Author of many scientific publications, e.g. in: "Practical textbook of psycho-oncology of children and adolescents" edited by Maria Rogiewicz, Kraków 2015, Ed. Practical Medicine. Member of the Management Board of the Polish Psycho-oncological Society and Member of the Management Board of the AssociationSarcoma” at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska Oncology Center in Warsaw. For over a dozen years, he has been working in the Oncology and Oncological Surgery Clinic for Children and Adolescents at the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, and for several years in the Mental Health Clinic and Psycho-oncology Clinic of IMID. He works with patients, their families and loved ones at all stages of the disease and its treatment.
He conducts psychological, pedagogical and psycho-oncological therapy, working individually or in groups: with children, adolescents and adults. The work is carried out under the supervision of a certified PTP and PTPO supervisor
Ola Urbaszek
Psychologist, psychotherapist, psycho-oncologist
He has extensive experience, both clinical and in private practice. He has been working as a psychologist, psychotherapist and psycho-oncologist for over a dozen years, currently at the Institute of Hematology, Oncology and Internal Diseases at SPCSK in Warsaw. He works with patients, their families and improves patient-doctor relationships. She has repeatedly given lectures and training for doctors, nurses and volunteers. She is the author of numerous articles, including: author of the chapter "How to talk to a cancer patient" Oncology for primary care physicians; author of chapters on mental well-being in the book Lifestyle Medicine; author of articles on Psychology in "Be Active. Dietetics & Fitness”; author of the guide "Body under stress" created for Medicover and other self-help content also created for pharmaceutical companies.
Piotr Krawczyk
Psychiatrist
He has been working with patients since 2013. He gained experience working in the Affective Disorders Department of the 2nd Psychiatric Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology and also as a palliative care doctor at the Hospice of St. Krzysztof in Warsaw. Currently, he works at the National Institute of Oncology. Maria Skłodowska-Curie – National Research Institute as a consultant psychiatrist in the Institute's branches. He specializes, among others, in the treatment of mood disorders, sleep disorders and mental disorders comorbid with somatic diseases.
Consultations for clients are conducted through the Dialog Therapy Center.
Aneta Michalska
Psychiatrist
He has been working with patients since 2015. She gained experience in the departments of Nowowiejski Hospital in Warsaw. Currently, he works at the 3rd Psychiatric Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology. She participated in numerous trainings and conferences in the field of psychiatry and psychology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuroses, depressive disorders and eating disorders, as well as in the support of LGBTIQ people. He also works with patients with adaptation disorders and experiencing chronic stress.
Consultations for clients are conducted through the Dialog Therapy Center.
