In February 2025, after surgery, histopathological examination confirmed metastases in 25 dissected lymph nodes - including the subclavicular area. Just one month after such extensive surgery, I began my second line of chemotherapy. Despite repeated intolerance reactions to two of the medications administered, I managed to complete six cycles of planned chemotherapy in June 2025. After its completion, imaging studies revealed Unfortunately, new changes appeared in the form of several other enlarged lymph nodes. In the hospital, I am still receiving what is known as maintenance chemotherapy, which is intended to stop the progression of the disease.
Chemotherapy weakened my body greatly. - especially the immune system. For me, this is a signal that I need to continue taking action to prevent the disease from progressing and completely exhausting my body.
I started in August specialized immunological therapy, The goal is to stimulate the body's natural defense mechanisms, as well as many other treatments that support treatment. Additionally, I still need the support and care of various medical specialists, including a physiotherapist, and specialized supplementation to gradually rebuild my body after intensive treatment. Unfortunately, these therapies are very expensive – the monthly cost is almost PLN 50,000.

My name is Wiola and In August 2023, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The disease appeared unexpectedly – during a routine ultrasound examination, doctors detected suspicious changes. A quick reaction was crucial, so a week later I underwent my first surgery and then started chemotherapy. Despite the difficult treatment, I tried to stay active – I worked and took care of my well-being.
Unfortunately, in the second half of 2024, imaging tests revealed further changes in the lymph nodes. So I continued the fight – I had a second surgery and I am preparing for another round of chemotherapy. I am focusing on my health and doing everything I can to regain my full strength!
My goal is not only to get back to health, but also to work and realize my dreams. However, in order to heal myself effectively and support my body, I need help. I am raising funds for supportive treatment, supplementation, rehabilitation and visits to specialists. Every złoty brings me closer to health and a normal life.
