My name is Sylwia Trzcińska and I suffer from blood cancer, essential thrombocythemia (thrombocytosis). The diagnosis came suddenly and completely changed my life. It's a very difficult time for me, full of fear, uncertainty, and strong emotions. Anger, helplessness, and tears appear. Every day I think about the future and how my life will unfold.

I decided to ask for help, although it's not easy for me. I'm an honest person and have had many difficult life experiences. I simply want to recover and eventually return to a normal life. My living situation is very difficult. We don't have our own apartment; we've been renting for years and have been trying unsuccessfully to obtain one from the city. Every request has ended in rejection.

Initially, it took a long time to figure out what was wrong with me. I felt increasingly worse, so I went to the doctor and had blood tests done. The results showed a very high platelet count. After further diagnostics, the hematologist diagnosed essential thrombocythemia. I struggle with numerous symptoms daily: weakness, cold hands and feet, and night sweats. All this makes normal functioning very difficult..Additionally, I am disabled and suffer from hypertension, thyroid disease, asthma, and anxiety and depression, which I have been battling for years.

I'd like to use the funds raised for treatment, doctor appointments (the National Health Fund (NFZ) schedule is very long), and essential medications. I'd be grateful for any help, even the smallest. Every donation is incredibly meaningful to me and gives me hope to continue my fight.
