I learned of my illness in November 2024. Initially, my persistent hoarseness was diagnosed as gastroesophageal reflux disease, but the symptoms persisted and even worsened. Concerned, I consulted another otolaryngologist. After a more thorough examination, I received the diagnosis:, laryngeal tumor.

A biopsy of the larynx and enlarged lymph node was performed, squamous cell carcinoma was diagnosed.Since January 2025, I have been following a low-carb diet and taking supplements to support my body. In April 2025, I underwent a complete laryngectomy (removal of the larynx) with removal of several lymph nodes.After surgery, holistic treatment was implemented, and the results were normal until September 2025. Unfortunately, in September, a metastasis appeared in a lymph node in the neck, which was surgically removed in December. In January, further tests revealed another metastasis to the lymph nodes.

I'm currently beginning radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I'm also planning activities to support my body, and after completing oncological treatment, I intend to implement comprehensive holistic treatment to help regenerate and strengthen my body.

Despite my illness, I feel fully energized and have no additional ailments. The cancer is returning, but I still have energy, plans, and dreams I'd like to fulfill. Above all, I simply want the chance to continue living an active life and making decisions about my future. My two sons are now adults, but I still actively participate in their lives. Now that they no longer require daily care, I have more time for my passions. Last year, I began climbing the Crown of Polish Mountains (Korona Gór Polski) and have already conquered 11 of its 28 peaks. This year, I plan to climb Rysy and pursue further mountain challenges. I also cycle and have planned several longer trips; I still have many trails to ride and hike.

I'm also professionally active and would like to be able to work. I have someone and something to fight for.
