My name is Monika, and I'm 42 years old. For years, I've been the person who supports, lifts, soothes, and helps others get back on their feet. As a dietitian, psychodietician, and holistic coach, I've been with people through difficult times—illness, crisis, burnout, and recovery. I've taught them how to care for their bodies, but also for their hearts and emotions. I've believed in human strength, in hope, and in emerging stronger from even the greatest storms.

Today I found myself on the other side.

Diagnosis breast cancer It hit me like a blow that no one could ever predict. In an instant, my world—full of working with others, caring, love, and everyday life—stopped. Fear, disbelief, tears, sleepless nights… and one question kept echoing back: „How am I supposed to handle all this?”

I'm a mother of two children who are my whole world. As a woman and a mother, I want to be strong and I want to heal. Every day, even when my body is failing, I wake up with the thought that so many wonderful moments lie ahead. I look at my children and know that I must do everything I can to be healthy—for myself and for them, to be able to hug them, support them, guide them, and be there for them at every stage of their lives. 

Cancer treatment isn't just an emotional and physical struggle. It also involves enormous costs, unreimbursed therapies, additional tests, consultations, rehabilitation, supplements, travel, and often the loss of regular work. It's a burden I can't bear on my own at this time. From one day to the next, I lost my job, underwent intensive diagnostics, surgery, and am now preparing for further cancer treatment.

Therefore, with great humility and a trembling heart, I ask for your help. Every penny, every share, every kind word has unimaginable value to me. It's not just about the money—it's about the feeling that I'm not alone on this journey to healing.
