My name is Mariusz. Until recently, my life was a constant state of movement. Sport was my lifeblood; hockey, rollerblading, cycling, and swimming filled every free moment. As a handyman, I was always the first to reach out whenever someone needed help. Today, I have to ask for help to regain even a fraction of my former life. 

In May 2025 I heard the sentence: Glioblastoma multiforme grade IV. I underwent surgery and grueling treatment, believing the worst was behind me. Unfortunately, the December MRI delivered another blow – a relapse. The disease trapped me in a body that stopped listening to me. The paralysis on my right side made everyday life a struggle for every step. However, I am not alone in this most difficult battle. My wife, Justyna, is my greatest support and the strength that keeps me from giving up. She helps me face my body's limitations every day, and she will accompany me on every trip to Bydgoszcz, 500 km away. Her presence by my side during radiation treatments and infusions is invaluable to me, but the multi-day trips we make together generate costs that we cannot bear on our own. 

A huge opportunity has arisen for me, modern treatment with specialists in Bydgoszcz. My plan is intensive targeted radiotherapy and a series of infusions that may halt the disease and reduce brain swelling. Although the hospital treatment itself is currently covered by the program, The costs of recovery remain enormous. The money raised is essential for intensive, daily neurological rehabilitation, which is my only chance to overcome my paralysis, and to cover the high costs of logistics, frequent travel, and accommodations for both of us.

I dream of getting back on my bike and being able to fix things with my own hands. Please help me in this fight. Every donation and every 1.51 TP3T in taxes gives me a real chance to get back on my feet and build a future together with my wife.
