I am at the beginning of a difficult treatment path. On May 31, 2024, I heard shocking news that turned my life upside down. I was diagnosed grade IV glioma. My family – husband, son, mother, sister and brother-in-law – and colleagues showed me incredible support, full of empathy and willingness to help. Thanks to them, I try to stay calm, optimistic and have common sense, believing that mental attitude is more than half of the success.

Due to illness, I was unfortunately forced to stop working with teenagers in the field of psychological support and with a theater group of people with intellectual disabilities. I believe that I will return to this activity and continue to help.

I am currently undergoing surgery and tumor removal. Now all my energy is focused on treatment, I am waiting for the oncologist's guidelines. Unfortunately, most modern treatments such as immunotherapy, possible surgery after resumption – NanoTherm or OPTUNE, is not refunded and the costs are huge. I want to try everything. As the nurse in the hospital said: Fight!! And I will. 

There has come a point in my life when I have to ask others for financial help in treatment. That is why I am asking you for financial support. Your help will enable me to have access to the most modern treatment methods and give me a chance to recover and to do my work, which is my passion. Every donation brings me closer to this goal. I am suffering from stage IV Glioblastoma and I need your support! My family and friends give me strength, but the treatment costs are beyond us. Each donation is one step closer to my recovery so that I can keep doing what I love, which is helping others.

I am at the beginning of a long treatment. On May 31st 2024 I received shocking news which turned my entire life upside down – I was diagnosed with stage IV glioblastoma. My family – husband, son, mom, sister and brother-in-law – and coworkers showed me overwhelming support, full of empathy and will to help. Thanks to them I try to stay calm, positive and preserve my common sense, hoping that being mentally prepared is already more than half the fight.

Because of my condition I was sadly forced to stop working with teenagers in the field of psychological support and with a theatrical group of mentally challenged people. I hope that I will return to such activities and will still be able to help.

Currently I am after an operation and tumor removal. Now all my energy is spent on my treatment, and I am waiting for my oncologist's guidelines. Sadly most of the newer treatment methods, like immunotherapy, eventual surgery after resumption – NanoTherm or OPTUNE, is not reimbursed, and the costs are great. I wish to try everything I can. Just like a hospital nurse told me: “Fight!” and that is what I intend to do.
