Just half a year ago I was a healthy and active young man. I played volleyball and ran half marathons. For years I had dreamed of starting a family with my beloved fiancée Marta and returning to Poland. We were just waiting to pay off our student loans with our employers after completing our Masters in the UK. We had already planned a wedding in Poland for June 28, 2025 to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

Unfortunately, my world collapsed. In July, I was hospitalized, where I spent months being told I might not live to see a definitive diagnosis. I was in excruciating pain in my hip, spine, and lungs, and I had high fevers. Finally, I received the news that sounded like a death sentence. I have an extremely rare and aggressive cancer – NUT Carcinoma, which has spread to many parts of my body (lung, liver, spine, skull, hip, pelvis and other bones). Despite the difficulties, I believe that with proper treatment I will have time to fulfill my greatest dreams.

Since July I have been spending most of my time in the hospital, first treating painful infections, undergoing numerous biopsies and diagnostic tests, and then taking one of the most difficult chemotherapy treatments (VDC/IE) that requires almost constant hospitalization. Unfortunately, it is no longer working, and the cancer is very aggressive.

Further treatment options include immunotherapy in the UK and Germany, and clinical trials in the US at the Dana Farber Institute. This is an experimental treatment that could help not only me but others with NUT carcinoma and similar rare cancers by providing data on the effectiveness of these treatments. Unfortunately, the costs of this treatment are far beyond my and my family's financial capabilities. I need your support to be able to cover them and live! Without this treatment, according to the doctors' prognosis, I have at most a few months to live.

I still have many plans and dreams that I want to fulfill. Your help will be invaluable! I'm only 28 – I don't want to leave so early.

Dream: It's hard to dream when life suddenly turns upside down. Can I dream of recovering from a deadly disease? Should I? Can I still dream of starting a family that I could leave so quickly? I myself grew up without a father and dreamed that my children would have the childhood that I didn't have - happy and in a complete family.

We had our civil wedding during my first chemo in the hospital cafeteria. When I went on a week-long break from chemo, we had it strengthened in the local chapel.

Now I would like to fight for as many happy moments as possible with my loved ones and I am asking you for support.
