I am a young, intelligent, athletic man, full of curiosity and love for life. Sounds like a fairy tale, right? Unfortunately, in addition to this I also have glioma.

Life wrote its brutal script. The disease appeared suddenly. The headaches that each of us has seemed normal. However, with time they grew. The suspicion of sinusitis turned out to be false, and the treatment did not bring anything. The pain became stronger and stronger, until I could not work or function normally. I lost consciousness, and the ambulance took me to the hospital. The diagnosis was devastating – stage IV glioma.. This monster that came out of nowhere knocked me off my feet and took away my normal life.

I have a loving daughter, a family, a job that I love, and lots of dreams. That's why I'm not going to give up. I'm going to fight! I fight every day to get out of bed and take a few independent steps. I'm also fighting for my daughter, Liwka. I lost my father when I was young, and I know how it affected my life. I won't let history repeat itself. I don't want my little girl to grow up without a dad.

The radiotherapy and chemotherapy I underwent are just the beginning of the fight for life. Daily rehabilitation is necessary for me to be able to function, but it is not enough for me to LIVE. I need modern treatment, which is not available in Poland – TTFields Optune Therapy. This device, which generates electromagnetic fields, disrupts the growth of the tumor and causes its cells to die. Unfortunately, the monthly cost of the therapy is over 120,000 PLN, and the device must be worn as long as possible.

An additional option is immunotherapy in Germany, the cost of which is about 60,000 euros. The daily costs of rehabilitation and treatment are enormous, and I have less and less time.

There are more and more cases where such treatment has given people a chance to live longer. I want to be one of them. I want to see my daughter graduate, get married, start a family... I want to be with her as long as possible.
