Free specialist support, assistance in purchasing non-reimbursed medicines, urgent diagnostic tests for the Foundation's beneficiaries

Cancer is one of the most terrifying and destructive enemies that appears in our lives without invitation. It introduces chaos, destroys our plans and dreams, and those of our loved ones. Every year, over 170,000 Poles are diagnosed with cancer. Due to the pandemic, and thus difficult access to diagnostics, in recent months there have been more diagnoses of malignant tumors than ever before. The number of people with cancer is increasing at an alarming rate.

Now, at this moment, over 1.17 million Poles live with cancer, including our patients who have to fight for their lives and health every day.

One of our charges is Gosia, who, thanks to the Rescue Fund, was able to take advantage of visits with our specialists and, among other things, a conversation with a psycho-oncologist was a great support for her in the disease process. We help every person with oncological diseases and who needs support. We run sub-accounts for our clients free of charge, for which funds needed for treatment are collected. Unfortunately, treatment costs often exceed the funds collected or a given collection is stalled.

Therefore, in response to crisis situations, we have created an Emergency Fund when you need to quickly administer a non-reimbursed medicine or organize medical transport, and every minute is precious. The Emergency Fund also covers urgent diagnostic tests when waiting for a test under the National Health Fund seems too risky. We share knowledge about the disease and its treatment, help in choosing medical facilities, organizing transport, raising funds or meeting the basic needs of patients and their loved ones. We provide our patients with free access to specialist consultations among others.: psycho-oncologist, psychiatrist, onco-dieteticist, sexologist or pain management specialist. 

That is why our actions and their support are so important, not next week, not tomorrow, but NOW!

From the beginning of our existence, we have tried to provide our clients with the most comprehensive support possible. Our goal is that everyone who contacts us can always get help. We do not leave anyone alone, we help in the most emergency situations, without charging any commission or fees.

Unfortunately, our emergency fund has depleted. We are 70,000 in the red. However, when it comes to human life, there is no second thought. We had to transfer funds from statutory purposes to the emergency fund.

We want to help, but we don't have money for it. Please help us and our clients.
