I am currently going to Gliwice more and more often because I have to undergo regular gastroscopies, tomography and constantly take medications. The therapy works slowly, but the visits are becoming more frequent. Unfortunately, this is associated with high costs, so I need financial support to be able to continue the treatment.
Any help is extremely valuable to me.

I became a great-grandmother. I want to be with my granddaughter and her child to be able to support them. At the same time, I continue to fight my disease, which costs me a lot of money. The treatment brings positive results, so it is important to maintain the regularity of taking chemotherapy. I still need money to travel to treatment. I kindly ask you for support. I want to live as long as possible, because I have someone for whom!

My fight against malignant liver and bile duct cancer is still ongoing. Since May 2023, I have been going to the Institute of Oncology in Gliwice every 3 weeks. I am undergoing combined immunotherapy, which currently has little effect. My condition is gradually improving, the most important thing is that there are no metastases and this gives me hope for a better tomorrow. Unfortunately, the costs of commuting 350 km one way, medications and diet are beyond my capabilities. I want to continue to be a support for my youngest daughter and granddaughters, for whom I am a foster parent. I will soon become a great-grandmother and I would like to be able to help my granddaughter with child care. I would like to be able to see her first steps, hear her first words. Your support has helped me a lot so far, for which I thank you with all my heart, without you I would not be able to fight so hard... That is why I am still asking for support!
Dream:
My name is Dorota and I would like to share my story with you. In January 2023, I underwent a gallbladder removal procedure. During the procedure, a lesion on the liver was removed and sent for testing. 6 long weeks of waiting for the histopathology result. The diagnosis was devastating – malignant tumor of the liver and bile ducts with dissemination.
This is how I began my fight against time and a difficult opponent. I commute 350 km to the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice. Unfortunately, the costs of travel, diet and medicines began to overwhelm me, and regular intake of subsequent doses of chemo, a proper diet and supplementation are crucial for the effects of treatment.
My children and grandchildren motivate me to fight. I am a foster parent to my younger 16-year-old granddaughter, I want to watch her grow up and be her support. I also want my youngest daughter, 19, to be able to fulfill her dreams and plans, which my illness has pushed to the sidelines.
Even the smallest donation will help me cover the costs of treatment and, in the long run, help me realize my dreams.
