Treatment, tests and commuting

I am forced to ask you for support again. The last few weeks have been very difficult for me. The Maintrack study showed an increase in the number of cancerous lesions. Unfortunately, I cannot afford expensive infusions, which would be a chance for me to improve my health. My health and financial situation continues to deteriorate. For this reason, I had to put my sick mother in the care of an old people's home because I was unable to take care of her myself. Fees for her care also generate additional costs. So far, I have used supportive treatment thanks to savings and the support of other good-hearted people. Today I am ready to sell my apartment to have money to cover medical costs. I want to live so much.

DREAM:

When I heard the diagnosis colon cancer, my future life became a big question mark. Surgery after surgery, pain and uncertainty kept me wondering how much more I could endure. I endured a lot - after resection of 2/3 of the stomach, part of the large and small intestine, I was finally able to return home, with the recommendation to start chemotherapy.

I am currently receiving infusions, with a break between October 2022. and March 2023 In December, I had an open fistula, which makes it difficult for me to travel for infusions due to the frequent need to change dressings. Recent blood tests have shown major anomalies, which only increases the need for repeated tests and infusions, which are very expensive.

To improve my health, I was recommended to take a weekly infusion, however, one such treatment costs PLN 2,300 (PLN 2,500 with travel), and the necessary tests cost PLN 4,000. Unfortunately, I am not able to raise this kind of money myself. The disease has already consumed all my savings and the financial support I received from family and friends.

My dream is to be able to enjoy every day in good health with my children and watch my two granddaughters grow up. During this difficult time, I also take care of my mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's. I still have hope that with your help I could continue to enjoy life, surrounding myself with the people I love.
