Update from March 16, 2020

Beata has good news - the test results are very good. In the coming weeks, she will only need to replace part of the endoprosthesis. And Wojtuś is growing like a weed 😉

Wojtuś was born today. Now Beata will undergo thorough tests that will help develop a further treatment plan.

DREAM:

I am 33 years old. By profession, I am a tourism and recreation organizer, a WOPR rescuer and a swimming instructor, by passion - a photography enthusiast, and in everyday life - a wife and mother of a 5-year-old daughter.

In July 2014 - two months after the birth of my daughter - I was diagnosed with cancer (Ewing's sarcoma - a malignant tumor of bones and soft tissues). I underwent 3 cycles of chemotherapy in Warsaw, underwent limb-sparing surgery, followed by radiotherapy and long and exhausting rehabilitation in Legnica.

Four years later, i.e. in November 2018, the disease recurred. Meanwhile, unexpectedly I got pregnant for the second time – I'm in my 2nd month and in these circumstances I have to face this serious disease once again. I am at risk of limb amputation. There is also a risk of complications for the child's development due to cancer treatment. In this situation, my husband and I are worried about the future twice - we are fighting for both my health and that of our baby.

Currently, the costs are mainly related to medical consultations, travel to the hospital, dietary supplements and medicinal products. If the leg is amputated, rehabilitation and the purchase of a prosthesis will also be necessary.
