Hi, my name is Ania and I'm in the process  third recurrence of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I found out about the disease almost a year and a half ago, when I was in my long-awaited second pregnancy. What was supposed to be a time of joyful waiting turned into a time of fighting for life. Leaving a son behind and a daughter crying after giving birth is a dramatic moment that no mother would want to experience. This is not how I imagined the moment of my child's birth... Three years ago I was thinking how I would spend my 30th birthday and I did not expect that it would be then that I would be fighting for my own life... The treatment was supposed to take me half a year, more than a year has already passed and I still haven't I'm with my children. My son doesn't know what it means to be with his mother. The transplant, which I was so afraid of, gave a chance to end the treatment, but unfortunately it did not happen and after two months there was another, very difficult recurrence.

Currently, a chance to continue the fight against this extremely resistant disease is treatment outside the country. This treatment is associated with huge costs - modern therapies cost approximately PLN 2 million… I never thought I would have to ask for such help, but I have to do it and I believe that fate will smile on me and my loved ones again.

My dream has always been to create a safe home, full of love, with my husband, from which our children can draw. Please help me make this dream come true.
