Hi!
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who supported me! The funds collected enabled me to continue The healing process – both physical (physiotherapy, medications) and mental. I am incredibly grateful for this! Every donation you made, even the smallest, gave me a huge boost of positive energy! ❤

My condition is currently stable, although I'm under the constant care of numerous specialists. My latest CT scan results are excellent. My liver is coping well, even though it's turning into a calcified tumor. The chemotherapy has destroyed the cancerous tumors, and they're supposedly no longer visible. Every three weeks, I attend daytime chemotherapy at the Maritime Hospital in Gdynia Redłowo. I receive Enhertu, a drug that has excellent anti-cancer properties. Unfortunately, it also causes a number of side effects. I'm undergoing rehabilitation. Marlena is excellent at draining lymph from the area around my operated breast. I need an ophthalmologist's consultation. I've returned to work, but it can be difficult. I often wake up exhausted and exhausted. My immune system is weakened, and I easily catch infections.

But! Thanks to your help, I was able to go through the grieving process after my carefree life before my diagnosis and take really big steps towards accepting the situation I find myself in. This has liberated me. crazy desire to live, and combined with specialized treatment – it allowed me to experience unforgettable adventures and create wonderful memories with my husband, daughters and friends, for which I am very, very grateful!

And since I would like to be able to continue to recover so well for another year, I am asking you for support. Will you help?

Dream:

My name is Agata and I live with metastatic breast cancer. Help me be a mother as long as possible ❤️

In 2019, at the age of 33, I felt a change in my breast. At that time, I had two little daughters – Kornelia was 5 and Marysia was only 2. I heard the diagnosis –  malignant breast cancer. The world stopped. I started treatment – chemotherapy, mastectomy with reconstruction. In 2021, I returned to work and life. I thought the disease was behind me.

But in 2023 everything changed. New liver lesions, life-threatening pericardial effusion. From that moment on, I no longer live "after cancer". I am a palliative patient - treated to prolong life and maintain its quality for as long as possible. The time since that diagnosis has been one of constant vigilance, tests, changing therapies, side effects and racing against time.

I decided to have my ovaries removed as a preventive measure. The treatment stopped the progression of the disease, but it put a huge strain on my body – half of my liver is affected by cirrhosis.. I need care from many specialists: a hepatologist, neurologist, dietician, psychologist. I need rehabilitation, medications and supplements, which are often not reimbursed. Every 3 weeks I receive an infusion of a drug that is supposed to stop the disease. The last CT scan showed that the lesions on the liver began to grow again. The oncologist immediately changed the treatment - we are waiting to see if the new drug will work.

I haven't been able to return to work for a year and a half. Treatment is not only a huge physical and mental effort, but also a cost that is becoming increasingly difficult for me to cope with. That's why I'm asking you for help.

I just want to live. For myself. For my daughters. Be there for them as they grow up. Enjoy ordinary days. I don't want this disease to take that away from me.

Your support will allow me to provide care, treatment, and hope that there will be more moments together – without pain, without fear, with breathing. Without you, it will be harder for me. And much sadder.

Can I ask you for support? 🖤
