My name is Kamil, I am 42 years old and I have spent my whole life on the road. For 14 years I have been working as a professional truck driver, traveling across Europe and getting to know thousands of roads. My most beautiful memories come from Norway, where I worked until life threw me the hardest challenge – diagnosis: disseminated multi-organ malignant cancer.

I have a wonderful family: my wife Monika, who is my rock, and two children – Hubert (14 years old) and Julka (10 years old). It is for them that I fight every day, because my biggest dream is to see them grow up, conquer the world and fulfill their dreams.

My best chance of winning is to have treatment under the supervision of a doctor in Germany. However, the cost is enormous. Each trip costs about 7,000 euros, and I go on one every two months. In addition, the drug, administered every three weeks, costs 4,000 euros. Our savings that we have built up over the years have already been exhausted. That is why I must ask for your help to continue my treatment and fight for my life.

Motoring has always been my passion – especially motorcycling and mechanical challenges. Today my greatest passion is life. I fight for every day with my family, every glimmer of hope that I will be able to get back on the road – maybe not the truck, but life.
