In May 2020, Beata once again had to undergo leg surgery due to the loosening of the endoprosthesis element in the femoral part of the leg. In the meantime, after ordered follow-up PET tests in July, she learned about metastases to both lungs. She was operated on in January 2021 (removal of 2 nodules from the left lung), after which she received 4 cycles of chemotherapy at DCO Wrocław.
Current PET scan results (January 2022) show that the disease is still active in the lungs and still in the leg.
Oncological treatment continues. In a few days, Beata will start chemotherapy again. We are asking for your support, because the funds collected so far have been almost entirely used. Due to the return to treatment, we are also increasing the collection amount.


Update from March 16, 2020

Beata has good information - the test results are very good. In the coming weeks, she will only need to replace part of the endoprosthesis. And Wojtuś is growing like a weed ;)

Wojtuś was born today. Now Beata will undergo thorough tests that will help develop a further treatment plan.

Mam 40 lat. Od 11 lat zmagamy się wraz z  rodzina z moja choroba.

W trakcie urlopu macierzyńskiego tj. w lipcu 2014 roku – wykryto u mnie chorobę nowotworową (Ewing's sarcoma - a malignant tumor of bones and soft tissues). Przyjęłam wiele cykli chemioterapii w Warszawie, Wrocławiu oraz w Legnicy. Poddałam się operacji oszczędzającej kończynę, radioterapii oraz rehabilitacji.

Niestety, 4 lata później tj. w listopadzie 2018 r. nastąpił nawrót choroby, przerzut i byłam w drugiej ciąży. Szczęśliwie urodziłam syna w 31 tc., zostałam zoperowana (kończyna dolna oraz zmiany na płucach) a potem zaczęłam chemioterapię paliatywna ktora przyjmuję stale do dziś dnia.

Currently, the costs are mainly related to medical consultations, travel to the hospital, dietary supplements and medicinal products. If the leg is amputated, rehabilitation and the purchase of a prosthesis will also be necessary.
