supportive treatment

my name is Anna KornackaI am 66 years old, I have a husband, three adult children (daughters), 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. I would probably be a happy person now and satisfied with my life if it weren't for the insidious disease that attacked my body -  malignant breast cancer with metastases, infiltrating NSTG3 (Her-2 positive reaction 3+) .

Since August 2021, I have been undergoing treatment at the SUM Clinical Center in Katowice. I underwent a cycle of first-line palliative immunochemotherapy. I am currently still undergoing treatment, it has metastasized.

The hope is a drug called ENHERTU, which is not reimbursed in Poland but is known in Europe and around the world. which, according to medical opinions, gives great results. However, it is very expensive - a single dose is approximately EUR 3,307, and currently it is impossible to estimate how many doses I will need - only the test results will provide me with such knowledge. Currently, I am collecting money for a one-year treatment - 12 doses, which is approximately PLN 190,000. Maybe there will come a time when our state will reimburse the costs of treatment and we will not have to ask you for help. At the moment, however, I cannot count on such support.

I am a pensioner and I cannot afford to cover the costs of treatment, even with the best support from my family. Alternative for today: you have it, you live, you don't have it...

I want to enjoy life, at least a little more, and the moments spent with my family. Your support is my hope for health.
