My history

Collection for:

treatment, rehabilitation, commuting, supportive treatment, doctor visits, medications and other supplements

Dream:

3 years ago I realized how fragile life is, what a huge gift it is and how much it should be valued. Doctors diagnosed me - malignant breast cancer with node metastases absorbents. Unfortunately, it turned out that I had to deal with the most aggressive, rapidly metastasizing subtype, the treatment of which is very difficult and limited.

Oncologists ordered me the standard, in this case, six-month chemotherapy, which lasted a little longer due to complications and bad mood during its administration. Aggressive cancer - also aggressive chemotherapy, the effects of which I still suffer from to this day, because it significantly damaged my stomach and heart, caused recurring neuropathy and neuralgia, not to mention the significant deterioration of my eyesight. To this day, I have regular visits to a gastroenterologist, a cardiologist, a neurologist, a gynecologist and an osteoporosis clinic.

In turn, after chemotherapy, I underwent radical surgery, from which I recovered with difficulty. To this day, I have to undergo private rehabilitation because, unfortunately, the National Health Fund provides rehabilitation only once a year.
At the beginning of my journey, I met people who told me what else I could do to have a better chance of survival. This is how my search for various possibilities began - numerous trips and consultations with various doctors. Everything changed in my life in a few moments, I started digging into rocks and discovered hundreds of studies showing that diet, cleansing the body, strengthening it with various methods, oxygenating it, learning how to breathe, meditation, prayer, grounding, movement, working with the mind and attitude is half the battle. The other half is appropriately selected treatment.
At that time, I changed my first doctor - because anyone who issues a judgment without a court takes away
motivation - and in this disease the most important thing is warmth, peace and cheering. Like in a competition.

Supportive treatment has also come to the rescue, which is intended to raise the immune system enough to enable it to fight the enemy itself. Unfortunately, in our country, such treatment is not reimbursed, nor is research on cancer stem cells, which are responsible for distant metastases. All treatment, tests, rehabilitation, support for a weakened body, supplements and commuting are unfortunately very expensive and the average person simply cannot afford such things, it is impossible to cover all the expenses even if you work two jobs.

And apart from the illness, there are also bills to pay, expenses related to the child's school, meals, etc. And thoughts swirling in the head that the child also wants to have some distraction, that apart from watching dad take mom to another doctor, there is also the children's world , because every child wants to go somewhere, see something. Therefore, despite being tired or weak, but also to relieve some of the burden on my husband, I decided to return to work. And that's a big plus, because thanks to it I don't think about unnecessary things.

However, the above-mentioned expenses still exceed our budget. And I... would like, like most mothers,
I can't wait for the day when I can marry my daughter off. I would like to be with her as she grows up, I would like to watch her get educated, I would like to see her graduate from school, I would like to support her in her first job, I would like to sit with her in the gazebo one day and drink a cup of coffee together - just like I drink coffee with my mom. Because mom will always be mom, such a treasure, a haven where you can always dock for a moment and rest. I would like my daughter to have a carefree childhood, free from sad memories, fear of losing loved ones or longing. Because no child deserves traumatic memories, and my daughter experienced too much for her little heart.

It never occurred to me that I would have to fight such a terrible disease and at such an age. After all, I had plans and dreams - like everyone else... After all, there is still so much to do... like everyone else... But life surprises you when you least expect it, you never know what awaits you tomorrow. And I never thought that in the most beautiful moment of my life and the most important period of my daughter's development, I would find myself in such a difficult situation, especially since a year and a half before my illness, my father was diagnosed with cancer. I supported him for a year and a half, and then we were sick for another year and a half. Dad went to another world holding my hand, ordering me to raise Ania, and my daughter lost her second fantastic grandfather. My father-in-law also passed away a few years ago due to cancer.

That's why I do everything and support myself as much as possible to be with my daughter as long as possible and to be able to raise her, because I dream that Ania will live in a family with a mother and a father for as long as possible.

To everyone who was with me during this time and who still is - thank you from the bottom of my heart! At the same time, I am asking for prayers, because prayer is an expression of love for others, it shows our compassion, it contains everything. And as the example of the paralyzed man from the Gospel shows - the faith of others can also work miracles, and miracles begin wherever a person changes his own heart, then hard stones crumble, ice melts and flames are extinguished.

With love!
Agnes
