Yeva Bilichenko
Our daughter, Yeva, is just a few years old and is battling brainstem glioma—one of the most challenging childhood cancers. There's no effective treatment for her in Poland, so we're fighting for treatment abroad. Every day and every złoty brings us closer to saving her life.

Dream:
Our daughter, Yeva, became ill on June 17th. At first, it seemed like a common cold. We'd been swimming a few days earlier, so when Yeva started complaining of neck and headaches, we thought it was just muscle inflammation or a minor infection.
But On the morning of June 22nd, Yeva woke up in tears and cried nonstop for two hours. We couldn't calm her down, and then we noticed that her speech was very slurred and she couldn't pronounce the words correctly. We immediately went to the emergency room, where, after reporting our symptoms, an emergency CT scan of the head was performed. The results led to an immediate referral to the Children's Health Center, to the neurosurgery department.
There we heard a diagnosis that completely changed our lives – brainstem glioma.
Yeva is currently undergoing a course of radiotherapy at the Children's Memorial Health Institute. Unfortunately, there is no targeted therapy available for her in Warsaw—or in Poland generally—so We are looking for opportunities to continue treatment abroad.
The treatment requires the drug Everolimus, which is not reimbursed and costs approximately 3,000 PLN per month. We also use numerous paid consultations at clinics abroad to find the best possible treatment. All of these options are fully paid and extremely expensive for us.
Yeva is a kind, warm, and radiant girl. We will do everything we can to give her a chance at a happy life.
