My name is Waldemar. I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer – a diagnosis that made my life start to fall apart like a house of cards. My health deteriorated with each passing day. I spent all my savings on treatment, sold my apartment, and eventually found myself completely alone. The disease began to take everything I had. Today, however, I know that I still have something much more valuable than material things – life and hope.
At first, I was treated at my own expense in Germany. The therapy brought very good results – the results were promising, and the prognosis gave me a new chance. A week's stay in the clinic cost about 8 thousand euros. Unfortunately, after exhausting the funds from selling the apartment and the plot, I had to move the treatment to Poland.
The cancer had metastasized to the bones. I now need therapy with specialist drugs available under the drug program. Some of them are unfortunately not reimbursed - I have to pay for them myself. It's the same with rehabilitation - without it I lose my mobility, and severe pain locks me within four walls.
I wholeheartedly ask for financial support that will allow me to continue fighting the disease. Every form of help is priceless to me. Your support is not only real help, but also a huge gesture of solidarity and hope.
I really need funds for medicines (even reimbursed ones often have costs associated with them), rehabilitation, travel to doctors, specialized strengthening diets and hygiene products. Please help me create conditions in which I can fight for my health and life.
Dream:
I always helped and supported those in need, whenever possible, using the money I earned by working hard. I also used these funds to cover my own treatment in order to live and to continue supporting people in an equally overwhelming situation.
Unfortunately prostate cancer, which I have been fighting for several years in a clinic in Germany, has deprived me of my job, weakened me and consumed all my savings. Now I need support to fight cancer myself. I want to touch your beautiful hearts with my story.
My disease is treated in 2-4 month cycles. Almost three years ago, the urologist gave me a few months to live. However, the treatment brought the desired results, improving my condition and reducing the progression of the disease. Unfortunately, I have already spent all my savings on medicines and rehabilitation. The bodily ailments have returned, the disease is progressing, the pain is making it more and more difficult for Me to move.
That's why I'm turning to everyone with beautiful hearts, asking for financial support.
