My history

Dream:

In 2023, we were hit with news that no one expected and that we could not prepare for – I was diagnosed with breast cancer with metastases to lymph nodes. It was the moment when a completely new chapter in the history of our family began. Our youngest daughter Gabrysia was only one year old, the oldest Jaś was six, and Sara was to celebrate her fourth birthday in a few months. It was a very difficult and exhausting year for our whole family – six-month intensive chemotherapy, operation, frequent trips for consultations and treatments to Warsaw, Szczecin. It was also a time when we could strengthen our bonds, build a stronger family and experience the selfless help of many kind people. Therefore, despite the difficulties, we are extremely grateful for this year!

Thanks to systemic treatment, supporting my body in fighting the disease, and the great support of many people, I am currently in remission. At the same time, cancer will remain with us forever - somewhere in the back of my mind there will always be a question whether the disease will not return. During diagnostics, I was diagnosed with BRCA2 gene mutation. I am under constant medical care, but tests such as Maintrack, which are used in the West for cancer prevention, are not effective in Poland unfortunately they are not refundable. 
 
That is why I am asking for help to fully benefit from the discoveries of modern medicine in the fight against my disease. For every złoty added to the collection we will be very grateful to you!
