My name is Radek, I am 33 years old. I am a husband and a father of a 7-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, on July 6, 2024, my life turned upside down. I had an epileptic seizure while I was sleeping. In the hospital, after a series of tests, I heard a diagnosis that sounded like a death sentence: a large lesion was detected in the right frontal lobe. It turned out to be glioblastoma multiforme grade IV.

After the surgery, the only treatment option available in Poland is radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but this is where the reimbursed options end. However, I have had an initial conversation with a clinic in Israel, where specialists offer more advanced therapies. Unfortunately, consultations and recommended treatments are associated with huge costs – starting from a few thousand euros and ending with several thousand euros. In Poland, on the other hand, access to Optune therapy costs more than 100 thousand zlotys a month.

Fighting cancer is not only about fighting the disease, but also about huge financial burdens. That is why I am turning to you with a huge request for help. I need your support to collect an amount that will give me a chance to turn months into years and more time that I can spend with my family.
