My dream is to spend Christmas 2020 with my family, my children and my partner.

My name is Patryk Żamojtuk, I am 27 years old, I have three children - Julian (8 years old), Pola (4 years old) and Liwia (2 years old) - and my loving partner, the mother of my children, Paulina.

In September this year I started feeling pain on the left side of my abdomen. The general practitioner recommended an easily digestible diet and stomach protection tablets. The pain was getting worse, I couldn't eat or even drink, and I was getting weaker. I went for a private visit to an internal medicine doctor who performed a gastroscopy and an ultrasound, which showed that I had a huge tumor in the abdominal cavity. An MRI I did four days later confirmed it. I contacted an oncologist in my area, who, after consultation, recommended that I go to Warsaw to see a famous professor. After two weeks, I managed to contact the professor and found myself at the National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. I finally heard the diagnosis - cancer. I start chemotherapy on November 18. I'm at the beginning of the entire treatment process, I don't know yet how it will all go and how long it will take.

I am currently on sick leave due to illness, my partner does not work professionally and takes care of the house and children. Our financial situation is very difficult. As of today, the main costs are: commuting to Warsaw, from which I live 300 kilometers, additional tests that are not reimbursed, shopping at the pharmacy, additional funds for dietary changes. At the moment, I don't know whether the medications I will have to take will be reimbursed, but even without it, we really need support.
