I found out about my stomach cancer diagnosis 3 years ago during a routine check-up. Unfortunately, after 2.5 years of treatment, the cancer recurred inoperably.

I had the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, during which, in addition to standard treatment, I received immunotherapy, after which amazing results were achieved. The next step in my treatment, which may open the way to surgery for recurrence, is to use chemotherapy again together with immunotherapy. Unfortunately, this time the selected immunotherapy drug is not reimbursed, and its cost is about 250,000 zlotys.

A month ago I found out about the recurrence of my cancer. I have three children and a wonderful husband, I would like to be with them, seeing them grow and achieve their goals. Next year my oldest daughter is getting married, and my biggest dream is to be with her on this important day together with my family. Immunotherapy is a chance for further surgery and treatment, but in my case it is not reimbursed and its costs are huge.
