My name is Mirosław Galas

I am a retiree and until recently an active professional bus driver. I combine my profession as a driver with passion. With great commitment and dedication, I gave people a part of myself. Early departures, late returns home, all to make travelers satisfied and happy, so that they can get to work, school, university on time...

Time passed inexorably, and I still loved and love this profession. I couldn't do it if it weren't for my patient, understanding, beloved wife Małgosia and my most beloved son Dominik. And my only grandson, Gabryś, who happily spends his free time with me, cannot lose me, not yet. He is happy when we travel together and I tell him old stories.

January 2021 It wasn't a happy month for me. I got pneumonia. My stay in hospital gave me another illness, I was infected with Covid-19. It was a hard and difficult time for me and my loved ones. We lived in hope... It worked, I recovered, we were happy. The happiness was short-lived. I did check-ups, including: PSA tests. The result was a shock and complete surprise for me and my family. Diagnosis – prostate cancer with bone metastases.

There were visits to specialists at the Environmental Protection Center in Kielce and Warsaw, and expenses for medicines.

I have already undergone several chemotherapy treatments which have weakened me greatly.
and each subsequent chemotherapy confines me more and more to my bed, causing nausea and complete helplessness. I am still undergoing the process of taking chemicals that help and at the same time destroy the body. The only chance for me is private treatment and supporting the body in the processes of receiving chemotherapy. Costs of current therapies and visits
specialists and additional treatments are beyond the capabilities of me and my loved ones.

All funds collected will be spent on tests, supportive treatment, visits to specialists and supplements to support my immunity so that I can continue taking such strong chemicals.

I know I can't give up now, I have something to live for!

Dear friends, I cannot continue treatment without your support, without donors, those who are not indifferent to the fate of the sick. Help me keep going! Help me recover. Time is important, ruthless and merciless... I know it's hard for you, we live in difficult times, but the essence of survival, and in my case surviving the next years, is your help. Today I need it, tomorrow it may be your request. Let us not be indifferent to the fate of the sick and their needs for treatment. I am and will be grateful to you for the heart you showed me. I believe that there are people with a heart of gold among us, every penny counts, even the smallest donation. Treatments, visits to specialists, medications… what more can I say?

I bow before you now and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help, for your sensitivity, for your heart, for your good thoughts, for being with me here and now. Save my future and the happiness that I desire so much. Good is coming back, I believe that your help will reward you greatly!
