He is constantly under the supervision of doctors from the Department of Oncology and Oncological Surgery in Warsaw. She is undergoing rehabilitation, which still costs a lot. After a year of using Nexavar, doctors decided to end the treatment. Now Maja is undergoing imaging tests and then regular check-ups. That's a great message!

Non-reimbursed Nexavar treatment continues and must be used for a longer period of time to be effective. We want to secure funds for Maja's further treatment, so we are increasing the collection amount to PLN 75,000.

Update of 13/10/2020

As previously announced, Maja started treatment with Nexavar at the end of September. The one-time cost is as much as PLN 8,818.20! He is also still undergoing rehabilitation, which is necessary to regain fitness.

Update of 18/06/2020

In February, Maja underwent surgery to remove the tumor and insert a femoral endoprosthesis. He is still undergoing rehabilitation - initially there was pain and fear, but gradually everything is heading in the right direction. Maja is making great progress and is now walking on crutches! She has a few more chemotherapy sessions ahead of her, and then it is planned to start treatment with the non-reimbursable drug Nexavar. It costs approximately PLN 4,500 per month. The treatment will last 6-12 months and will be a big financial burden for the family, so any support will be a great help.

DREAM:

Maja is 10 years old.

Until recently, she was just a cheerful, energetic girl who loved animals. She loved riding a bike and spent her free time with her beloved animals - Filemon the cat and sheep raised by her parents - although, like almost every little girl, she dreams of her own horse!

As Maja's mother says - Maja is a little tomboy, stubborn, maybe because she has two older brothers, or maybe because her zodiac sign is Taurus? From the beautiful smile in the photo you can't see that she has character and "nice weed"! But at the same time, she is also a very friendly, emotional and sensitive girl who has a very empathetic approach to her surroundings, family and peers.

In November 2019, she was diagnosed osteosarcoma of the femur - osteosarcoma. The diagnosis came unexpectedly and overwhelmed the family... there is nothing worse than hearing about such a disease in your child... But they did not give up and everyone decided to fight! Currently, Maja is being treated at the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, where she is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Already in February 2020, she will undergo surgery, followed by further cycles of chemotherapy. She still has a long period of treatment and rehabilitation ahead of her, but knowing the nature of this little herb, she will be able to handle it without any problems!

Maja is a very brave girl and bravely endures subsequent stages of treatment. While losing her hair, she had one small crisis moment when she confided to her mother that she would like to have a life like before... but after a while she announced that "she treats her illness like a bigger cold!" She also misses her friends very much and - to her mother's surprise - school, which she used to not like so much.

We know that at the end of this difficult road, she will regain her health and her favorite activities. Please support us in the fight for this Herb - any help will help protect her health and life.
