Julita Sosnowska
The disease struck in January 2024. I underwent surgery to remove metastases, a series of chemotherapy treatments, and radiation, and additional surgery was necessary. I am fighting for my health and independence under the care of a palliative care physician. I am currently enjoying a well-deserved retirement. The foundation's support helps me cover the costs of medications, supplements, and diagnostics. My body isn't giving up, and neither am I. I'm enjoying every day. Thank you for all your support.

My history
Dream:
On Friday, January 5, 2024, paralysis began on the left side of my body. Urgent hospitalization and diagnostics were necessary. Thanks to prompt neurosurgical intervention and excision of the lesion, which turned out to be a metastatic tumor, as well as systematic and persistent rehabilitation, I slowly began walking.
It turned out that the cause was metastatic lung cancer, stage IV, unfortunately without the possibility of targeted therapy.
I started chemotherapy supported by additional, non-reimbursed therapy to strengthen my body and help combat side effects.
Chemotherapy affected the functioning of other organs, and its continuation became life-threatening. Currently, I have supplementation and a combination of medications at my disposal to help me continue my fight. I plan to complete advanced, paid diagnostics, which will help determine the next possible treatment steps.
I want to stay in the best shape possible for as long as possible, because despite the passage of time, I still say, „I love you, life!”.
