Four years ago I was diagnosed – ovarian cancer. It was the time of the pandemic, difficult access to hospitals, and I was to undergo immediate surgery. Overwhelming stress accompanied me throughout these years. It was a time when I wondered whether I would be with my loved ones for another six months, whether I would cope with the suffering, whether I would have something to live on.

I underwent two surgeries, 23 chemotherapy infusions and radiotherapy.. Since the beginning of the disease I have spent huge amounts, considering my budget. Additional tests, private visits to doctors, medicines, supplements, travel costs. Possibilities palliative treatment, my financial resources are running out and running out. For three years, without additional support to alleviate the effects of aggressive therapies, I could not function.

It lifts my spirits the joy of every morning, memories of mountain hikes, music, conversations with friends. I would like fate to give me more opportunities to accompany the children in my family, to be able to dedicate my time and knowledge to them, just as I did to my students at school for almost 30 years. Although it is very difficult for me, because I have always been independent, I decided to ask for financial support.
