My history
Dream:
On the first day of spring, everyone wants to hear only the birds singing and feel the sun's rays on their faces. On the first day of spring 2019, I heard the worst words of my life - "you have aggressive, triple-negative breast cancer". Despite the terror, I knew one thing - that I would fight for my health and life, and only an integrated approach would give me a chance to beat cancer. Chemotherapy, psychological support, supportive treatment, supplementation and tests outside the National Health Fund - this is the path I chose.
I underwent intensive chemotherapy and then a mastectomy. There were complications. I had 5 instead of 2 surgeries, thrombosis, hemorrhages and blood transfusions, severe neuropathy, pain and numbness in my hands making simple activities difficult. But I did it and I would like to keep this feeling for longer. I don't want to go through this again, I want to be one step ahead of the cancer, ahead of its recurrence.
During the first 5 years after completion of treatment, the risk of recurrence or metastasis is highest. During this period, it is very important to support the body (weakened not only by the cancer itself, but also by its treatment) and regular examinations. My goal now is to take care of myself as best as possible to pass this time of increased risk calmly.
During treatment, I managed to cover my expenses myself. Unfortunately, now the costs associated with supportive treatment and follow-up tests exceed my financial capabilities. Please help me welcome the next springs with joy.
