Stanislav Diachuk 1848
Stanislav is 28 years old and struggling with a malignant brain tumor. Two years after his initial treatment, the disease returned. His current priority is to begin Optune therapy (TTFields), for which Stanislav has been pre-qualified, and to fund the non-reimbursed bevacizumab treatment. Let's help him pursue further treatment options and regain and maintain his full potential.

My history
Dream:
Stanislav is 28 years old. In 2022, he was diagnosed with malignant brain tumor – grade III glioma, located in the left frontal region.
On September 22, 2022, he underwent his first surgery to remove the tumor. He then underwent radiotherapy and 12 cycles of chemotherapy with temozolomide.
After completing treatment, Stanislav functioned very well for about two years. He returned to a normal, active life—working, completing his master's degree in Poland, traveling, and participating in sports. He also worked as a lifeguard.
Unfortunately, in 2026 there was recurrence of the disease. In May, Stanislav underwent another operation to remove the tumor. After the second operation, he was diagnosed with IDH-mutant astrocytoma, CNS WHO Grade 4, with positive GFAP and OLIG2 and Ki-67 around 20%.
Stanislav is currently under the care of oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, and neurologists. He continues systemic treatment, including temozolomide.
After the operation, serious speech problems appeared, especially expressive aphasia, as well as writing difficulties and weakened dexterity in his right hand. Stanislav walks independently and understands speech, but requires intensive speech therapy and physiotherapy. He is currently unable to return to work.
The most important goal of the collection is to start and continue Optune Therapy (TTFields), to which Stanislav was pre-qualified by Dr. hab. n. med. Maciej Harat, prof. PBŚ.
Stanislav was also shortlisted for non-reimbursed bevacizumab treatment. The drug is to be administered every two weeks, and the cost of one administration is approximately 746 PLN.
We want to utilize every feasible option that can help control the disease and give Stanislav the chance to maintain his best fitness.
The cost of Optune therapy is very high for our family. For a minimum of four months of therapy, it takes approximately 480,000 PLN. The non-reimbursed treatment with bevacizumab also requires additional funds, the cost of which, when administered every two weeks, may amount to approximately 20,000 PLN per year.
The total cost of a minimum of four months of Optune therapy and non-reimbursed bevacizumab treatment is estimated at approximately 500,000 PLN. We would like to use the funds raised primarily for these forms of treatment, and also—depending on Stanislav's current needs—for speech therapy, physiotherapy, medications, and other treatment-related costs.
Stanislav is a very young man, only 28 years old. After his first treatment, he was given a chance to return to a normal life and for two years was active – working, traveling, completing his studies, and pursuing his dreams. A relapse completely changed his life.
We want to do everything possible to give him another chance and begin the necessary treatment as soon as possible. Every donation brings us closer to raising the funds needed for Stanislav's treatment and rehabilitation.
Thank you for all your support and sharing of the fundraiser.
