Four months ago I was diagnosed with malignant, inoperable pancreatic cancer..

This is the cancer with the worst prognosis. The treatment offered in Poland is based only on chemotherapy. Many cycles are behind me, each subsequent one makes it difficult for me to function, and the further effectiveness of this therapy is a great unknown. After the last imaging check-up, I learned that surgeons are still helpless. However, the risk of the cancer spreading increases with each day, bringing me closer to the fatal statistics of only a few months to live.

 

Suddenly there was hope! 

The surgery, impossible to perform in Poland, is possible abroad, in the recommended Botton-Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Center in Lisbon, headed by Professor Markus Büchler. The professor is a world-renowned specialist in gastrointestinal surgery and transplantology, and is particularly known for pioneering pancreatic surgeries. This is my only salvation and a chance to continue living. I would like to be able to live my life to the fullest again - go to a concert, go to the mountains. I dream of returning to everyday life, in which I can be active, present and fulfilled - as a teacher, wife and mother.

 I am asking for financial support, because the treatment at the clinic is much beyond the financial capabilities of my family. We have very little time.
