Jolanta Kochel-Karakulska
SURGERY COSTS COVERED, THANK YOU! Four months ago, I received a devastating diagnosis – malignant, inoperable pancreatic cancer. In Poland, I was only offered chemotherapy, which is devastating and offers little hope. However, there is hope – treatment abroad!

Dream:
My name is Jolanta Kochel-Karakulska, I am 54 years old. I am married, I have 2 wonderful sons. I am an academic lecturer.
Suddenly there was hope!
The surgery, impossible to perform in Poland, is possible abroad, in the recommended Botton-Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Center in Lisbon, headed by Professor Markus Büchler. The professor is a world-renowned specialist in gastrointestinal surgery and transplantology, and is particularly known for pioneering pancreatic surgeries. This is my only salvation and a chance to continue living. I would like to be able to live my life to the fullest again - go to a concert, go to the mountains. I dream of returning to everyday life, in which I can be active, present and fulfilled - as a teacher, wife and mother.
I am asking for financial support, because the treatment at the clinic is much beyond the financial capabilities of my family. We have very little time.
