It's been eight months since the surgery that gave us a second chance. Today, Dad is finishing his adjuvant chemotherapy. It's been a long, difficult time, full of uncertainty and fear, but also immense hope. The operation was successful. On the third day after the procedure, Dad was already out of bed and walking down the clinic corridor, and after nine days, he left the clinic on his own. For us, these were small, great miracles.
Today, he's regaining his strength, regaining his energy, and despite everything he's been through, he hasn't lost his calm and serenity. Every day we spend together now has a completely different meaning. At the same time, we know that this disease requires vigilance and quick action. We are still under medical supervision and must be prepared for various scenarios. Therefore, we continue to ask for your support so that we can provide Dad with the best possible treatment if necessary.
Simultaneously thank you for the help so far, every kind word, and material support.
Dream:
This spring has turned our lives upside down. We will do everything in our power to ensure that Dad does not give up.
The diagnosis of pancreatic cancer came completely unexpectedly. Now the most important thing is time, And we have dramatically little of it. The tumor is inoperable in Poland, but Dad has a chance for life-saving surgery abroad. We can't do it alone. We need your support. Can you help us?
Dad is 60 years old. Just a few months ago, none of us imagined he would have so little time left. Until recently, he was a vibrant, humble man, a wonderful father and husband.
It all started with a routine abdominal ultrasound. Doctors noticed "something on the pancreas." After further diagnostics, it turned out to be a highly malignant tumor, inoperable in Poland. When it seemed that nothing could be done, hope appeared. We learned about the possibility of treatment abroad, in Portugal. Dad can undergo a procedure that gives him a real chance at life, even in June this year, exactly on June 25, 2025.
The professor who consulted Dad on June 12 said directly:
"Roman needs surgery as soon as possible. We don't have time to wait."
On behalf of our family, we ask for every, even the smallest, donation.
Every support is of great importance. Only by working together can we gather a cosmic amount – 350 thousand. zloty and save Dad.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every kind word, every donation, and for being with us during this difficult time.
