My name is Piotr, I am over 70 years old and I have worked hard all my life to provide for my family. Now, in retirement, I wanted to finally relax and enjoy peace with my wife, daughter and grandchildren. Unfortunately, fate wrote a different script for me.

In the fall of 2024, I heard a diagnosis that shook my world – non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

A six-month, exhausting battle with the disease began. Intensive chemotherapy, although effective in fighting the cancer, devastated my body. Today, when the test results are returning to normal, I am still struggling with numerous complications. I have lost weight, I am weak, and my body is failing.

I need support from specialists in various fields – gastroenterologist, otolaryngologist, dermatologist and many others. Unfortunately, the waiting time for visits under the National Health Fund is too long. Every day of delay is a step backward for me in the fight to get back to health.

That is why I am forced to use private consultations, medications and rehabilitation, which are a huge financial burden. I want to regain my former fitness, return to a normal life and be a support to my family again, as I was before the diagnosis.

Every contribution, even the smallest, brings me closer to this goal.
