On May 22, I finished the 20th cycle of Paclitakel chemotherapy. After it, I am now receiving Endoxan, which is intended to maintain my 7-month treatment.
In the meantime, we checked my markers, which are very low, so it's really great. I also had a PET/CT scan performed, which showed that two lesions in the liver had disappeared, some in the bones had receded, but three were still present. My doctors' opinions are confirmed - they are satisfied with the results! I am too - of course I would like it to be nothing, but I am happy with these small and at the same time great successes!
Due to the fact that some changes remained in my body, I decided to perform a liquid blood biopsy, which is to show the number of circulating cancer cells and what receptors are floating in my blood, i.e. the so-called biochemistry of tumors, so as not to do a biopsy. I will know the results soon.
The day after my 37th birthday, I go to the gynecology ward to have my ovaries removed, so it will be an additional burden on the body, so I am not slowing down when it comes to supporting my body - both through infusions, diet and supplementation.
Recently I spent PLN 7,000 on the examination plus the infusions that I was recommended, so I still incur huge costs related to the treatment.
Updated on April 15, 2024
Fortunately, the culture results did not show anything dangerous. Only skin bacteria that were sensitive to all antibiotics were grown. So I underwent 10 days of antibiotic therapy. Due to all this, I couldn't have chemotherapy, so my treatment was extended until the end of May, up to 20 doses. In the meantime, I also received the results of the Maintrac test on circulating cells, as well as the effectiveness of the drug that was offered to me after chemotherapy. The circulating cell results are quite low, 250! This is a great result because I managed to get 1500! I have to wait another 2 weeks for the stem cell results. Unfortunately, the sensitivity results for the drug Capacetabine were only 30%, so there is no point in taking it because I would only be hurting myself, so we have to choose another drug, hoping that it will work. I can't check it anymore because the cost of such a test is another PLN 3,000. We will monitor the markers, which are now even lower than they were in March, so it's very good.
What's next? - On April 16, a new port was installed, and on April 17, another chemotherapy was administered (16). Further doses will be administered in the following weeks. Once completed, transition to supportive care. Further therapy to support my immunity, which amounts to approximately PLN 3,000 - 4,000 per month (there are more such treatments during the week when I am receiving chemotherapy).
Unfortunately, the funds in my fundraiser have decreased due to sensitivity tests, hence my huge request for donations. I trust that my oncological journey is coming to an end and I will soon be fully cancer-free!

The surgery was successful, Ola feels good and has no complications. She will probably have surgery to remove the lymph nodes in a week.
Updated on March 21, 2024
New news from me - I had an MRI at the beginning of March and the results are great, as are the results of all possible markers and bioresonance. The changes are rolling back, one has disappeared, and the most important thing is that the changes are no longer active! They do not have the so-called diffusion restriction. Holistic treatment works! We are going for total health :) but this road is bumpy...
I will be given chemotherapy drugs until the end of April. After completing chemotherapy, I will receive complementary treatment in the form of a drug called Capacetabine. It can also cause a number of side effects, but not as severe. I have to constantly perform my complementary treatments in the form of infusions, supplementation, hydrogenation - that's what I do, because you can see that it works :)
There's never a dull moment for me, and sometimes I really want to. After the last dose of chemotherapy No. 13, I developed angina and had to take an antibiotic, which I had not taken for 7 years. After finishing the treatment for angina, I started having problems with my infusion port - severe redness around it. The decision was made to remove the port and perform a culture test. I'll get the results soon, but regardless of the results, I'll have to install a new port on the other side. Fortunately, it is done under local anesthesia, but when it comes to stitching, it won't be very pleasant...
My doctor is still considering whether to continue chemotherapy or switch to complementary treatment. What is certain for today is that I will have a maintrack test, i.e. a liquid blood biopsy, which will examine my circulating and cancer stem cells - whether there are many or few of them, and will test my sensitivity to the drug that my doctor wants to give me.
Let's be honest, these drugs are a real pain. Unfortunately, the cost of maintrack research is another one PLN 6,000, so the funds from my collections will practically amount to 0..., so I am asking you for support again!
But! Recently I heard something so beautiful that captivated me: "I'm finishing chemotherapy at the end of April. And then it will be May...". The most beautiful month for me - full of sun, joy, the smell of lilacs, warm evenings. I end the entry with this good thought.

On November 13, I start the next series of chemotherapy - paclitaxel + carboplatin. These will be weekly infusions, as long as my health and bone marrow allow it. Luckily for me, this really is good news. The chemosensitivity results for these two substances are very high, even 75%, so just as I was heartbroken over 2 years ago because I didn't want it so much, today I approach it differently.
Of course, I do not neglect the side of strengthening the body. I've been through a lot over the last 2.5 years, my body makes me feel it, especially during the changing weather, and just as I never complained about pain and avoided painkillers, they are still in my life today. However, in order not to end it sadly, I am constantly and constantly striving for health, and as my friend Beatka says - I am walking towards life and the rising sun! :)
All treatments are available to me thanks to the help of my family, but most of all thanks to you, for which I thank you very, very much!!!

The last few months have been a continuous sine wave. Joy mixed with sadness and fear...
After the June description of the study, it would seem that everything is going well and there has been stabilization. I felt and feel really good, the blood test results are also OK. Of course, I didn't stop going for infusions and taking supplements, I also started ozone treatment. Unfortunately, the September CT scan showed changes in the liver. The changes in the bones are stable, but the changes in the liver are something new - and if they are something new, it means that the current academic and complementary treatments do not work. Outside the liver, a pathological axillary node appeared, from which a biopsy was performed. I am currently waiting for the receptor results to know which side to approach the overall treatment. I don't want to give up any of them, because even though something new has appeared, I know how complementary treatment supports me and drives my body so that pharmacological treatment does not weaken me.
This is a difficult situation because both me and my family are approaching the issue for the third time. I am afraid, my husband is afraid, my mother, my aunt, my sister and probably my daughter are afraid, although the 7-year-old doesn't fully understand what is happening yet. My friends and the rest of the family are afraid. Nobody wants to hear words about the disease from the mouth of a 36-year-old...
While waiting for the biopsy results, I have already scheduled consultations with doctors who, together with my doctor, can come up with something best for me. Perhaps it will be possible to perform thermal ablation of my lesions. Apart from treating the physical body, of course, I do not slow down and I work emotionally through various types of therapies created by wonderful people, for whom I am extremely grateful.
As I asked before, today I am asking for your support, sharing and donations, because I have to start over again the whole process of developing a peri-oncological, integral approach to recovery. New consultations, additional paid tests, frequent and strong complementary therapies to block the path for cancer cells to reproduce in any way - this is currently my goal. Also (and probably above all) my goal is to heal the mitochondria so that the immune system recovers and can fight cancer cells on its own!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Ola and family.

I have good news - the CT scan from the beginning of June shows regression of the cancerous changes. I am glad that my various health-promoting activities are bringing results. I believe I'm on the right track. I constantly need systematic treatments to strengthen my body and support treatment and rehabilitation. This incurs huge costs every month, so the funds on my subaccount are "draining" at a dizzying pace. I am very grateful to you for every donation and I continue to ask for your support, without which I will not be able to cover all the costs related to the treatment.
Thank you!

The last few months have been intense - targeted therapy during which I took Abemaciclib, Faslodex, Reseligo and zolendronic acid. It was another challenge for my body.
The blood results weakened, so at the same time it was necessary to intensify the supportive treatment to strengthen the body. I will have a follow-up CT scan in the coming weeks.
Osteolysis caused by the metastasis resulted in a defect in the sternum. For this reason, I need specialized, manual rehabilitation to gently restore my body to its former condition.
The treatment costs are huge (approx. PLN 2,500 per month) and if it were not for your financial support, I would not be able to afford comprehensive activities.
I really want to continue to have the opportunity to use supportive treatment and private rehabilitation because I see its positive impact on my body.
Thank you very much for your support so far and I will be extremely grateful if you would like to continue supporting my treatment journey!

Unfortunately, once again I have to face an experience that is not the most pleasant. Recurrence in the sternum bone that has caused osteolysis of the sternum bone. Some changes were already visible in the imaging tests I had in September, but the radiologist simply didn't describe them...
If, if... - but there's no point in guessing. I have to get back on my feet and act, that's why the collection has been started again. I am collecting funds primarily for my strengthening activities and probably for rehabilitation, supplementation and numerous consultations.
I started taking Abemaciclib, so my body needs proper strengthening even more at the moment, which is why I am also undergoing supportive treatment to better endure the whole process. As a result, the costs of supplements taken have increased significantly.

Ola has had her last planned surgery and has her final prostheses. Imaging tests gave good results, there are no changes that could indicate recurrence. Ola also regularly tests the number of cancer cells. To maintain your current condition, it is important to continue treatment. Ola will undergo 3 more treatments of herceptin, then zolendric acid, and hormone therapy. Infusions supporting the body help maintain the results and rebuild the body's immunity, their cost is PLN 2,000 per month.

Yesterday Ola was on Herceptin 11, today she has 7 left. She had an ultrasound with elastography: ovaries, abdominal cavity and breasts. The results were very nice, everything was clean and unchanged!
On February 1, she will have blood drawn for a maintrac test, and on March 2, she will have surgery to replace the expanders with the final prostheses. Everything is heading in the right direction, keep it up!

Ola has already had her second surgery - lymph nodes removed, all are clear. That's excellent news! Ola is also starting chemotherapy and her first party is already behind her.

Ola is after surgery. We are waiting for histopathological results that will help determine further treatment.
Dream:
My name is Ola, I am 33 years old. I am a daughter, a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend, but above all, I am a woman.
The word cancer has always paralyzed me with fear, especially the word breast cancer, even though no one in my family has ever suffered from this disease. At the age of 32, I discovered a lump in my breast. Of course, I was under the supervision of doctors and clinics. Doctors suspected nothing other than fibroids. When I discovered a lump in my other breast a year later, I was scared. Doctors decided to remove the tumors immediately. After the surgery, I was told that the tumors in 99% were benign and not to worry. When the histopath results showed something different after 4 weeks, everyone was shocked. I froze, but only for a moment. I immediately started creating an action plan. My relatives passed the exam because together with me they looked for solutions and contacts with people who could help.
I am currently waiting for bilateral surgery to remove the gland, because after the histopath results all diagnostic imaging has started. MRI showed further changes in the left breast. Apart from surgery, probably pharmacology, but also psychological support, strengthening physical and immunological immunity and physiotherapy.
Cancer is a disease that can rob not only of hair and strength, but also of one's sense of dignity, value and femininity, I saw this in someone very close to me. She's gone. I know that the disease appeared in my life for a purpose. I don't sit on my hands, but I fight, I act, I search, I expand my awareness and knowledge, which drives me to act and gives me a kick on my way to health! I started to notice the smallest things, sounds, smells. Everything took on different colors. Mindfulness – it's something I've never had.
Thanks to my illness, I have met many wonderful people with open hearts on whom I can count at any time.
I promised my 4-year-old daughter that I wouldn't give up, that I would win and that one day I would tell her what a great fight her mother had to fight and I hope she would be proud of me!
My journey on earth is not over yet - I am sure of that!
