supportive treatment

My onco-story began at the end of 2019, when I felt it myself lump in the breast. Literally three months earlier, I had a breast ultrasound examination, which did not indicate that anything disturbing was happening. At the beginning of 2020, I began the standard treatment process: chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. I approached the disease as a challenge, I knew there was no other way to recover. I had a very task-oriented attitude, among other everyday matters, on the day of chemotherapy, I got behind the wheel and drove to the hospital.

At the end of the entire treatment cycle, i.e. in the last quarter of 2020, I learned about methods supporting treatment. I knew that my body needed strengthening after such intense months. Even though the costs were very high, I didn't want to ask for money at that time, I tried to manage the funds with my family so that we could cope on our own.

The entire year of 2020 was spent on treatment. Thanks to my experience, I began to motivate others to get tested, paying particular attention to the genetic susceptibility that I had.

In recent months, after 1.5 years, I had a check-up, the results of which unfortunately turned out to be not the best. Therefore, I needed to intensify my supportive care and take infusions every week. This is a very large expense, and I know it is necessary to prevent new changes from developing.

I am currently waiting for the examination and results of computed tomography. Then it will be clear what steps I will have to take next. I am optimistic, I approach it as another challenge that I have to face for a reason and I believe that everything will turn out well. However, I need to strengthen my body to be able to continue implementing my plans. I will be grateful for any support.
